Heritage as a lever for sustainable regional development

Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes

The Union Régionale Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes coordinates a network of twelve associations active in a wide range of heritage areas.
Two regional correspondents ensure a close presence for local associations, from the center of France to the Italian and German borders.

Whatever your age, or your social or cultural background, you can take concrete action to preserve our heritage and promote social cohesion. Every year, there are over 300 workcamps in France and abroad, so you can choose the one that suits you best.

  • Discover lithography in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes or marine carpentry in Nouvelle Aquitaine.
  • Learn about archaeology in Ile-de-France, masonry in Martinique or stonemasonry in Normandy.
  • Contribute to the preservation of a Vauban fort in Brittany or a protected area in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.
  • Improve your skills in blacksmithing in Grand Est, stained glass in Hauts-de-France, or steam locomotive restoration in Centre Val de Loire.
  • Participate in the conservation of church murals in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, or the rehabilitation of footpaths in Corsica.
