Since 2012, La Guilde de Villars has aspired to restore the walls of its château, to become a tourist destination in its own right and contribute to the enhancement of the Nivernais heritage. This will be achieved through events on historical themes ranging from the medieval to the 20th century. Periods that have, over time, given meaning to the
the Château de Villars coat of arms, composed of the "bête à l'aine", the "bête à corne" and the "cheval de trait nivernais".
