Presentation
For over 40 years, our association has been committed to safeguarding the site through voluntary work, and offers artistic, cultural and environmental activities to enhance the site and position it as a cultural third place within the Combrailles region.
The site is open exclusively to groups (scouts, etc.). who participate, according to their project, in the enhancement of the site through clearing, clearing undergrowth, structuring dry stone walls to facilitate the legibility of the monastery's footprint. The stay is the sole responsibility of the group. The association provides a camp site with stewardship facilities (water and electricity).
Close to the Chaine des Puys, on the banks of a river, in a protected natural setting at a crossroads of hiking trails, this ancient monastery founded in the 13th century is a major archaeological site for understanding the evolution of the specific architectural organization of Carthusian monasteries.
Activities and resources based on multi-disciplinary, historical, artistic and environmental trails are available on the association's website or on the heritage site on request.
