Presentation
The association was created in 1969 to safeguard the medieval village of Saint Victor la Coste (village surrounded by ramparts, hill, château-fort). The village was completely abandoned, ruined and overgrown. Workcamps restored the village, and the houses became the Sabranenque welcome center. Today, work is still carried out in the village and the château-fort, but the Sabranenque focuses on safeguarding rural heritage and works on other sites in the region.
