The Patrimoine et Environnement association was created in 2009 with the aim of preserving and safeguarding the built and natural heritage that represents the capital of the entire community.

The project is based on three pillars: Culture, Environment and Heritage, by :

- Renovating two communal buildings, the presbytery and the "Moine" house

- Redeveloping the terraces behind the Moine house and the presbytery garden as a conservation orchard, planting local fruit trees, vines and herbs found in the Monts de Gy region.

- Implementing an "animation" plan with local associations to bring these places to life

- Creating a link with the three dry grasslands (Champtournaux, Folle, Fresse), which have been the subject of study and work for many years by the many organizations involved. This area is classified as a Zone Naturelle d'Intérêt Ecologique, Faunistique et floristique (ZNIEFF).
