The Château-Rocher association was founded in 1967 by a group of twenty young people who were passionate about the then derelict Château de Blot-Rocher. The association's primary aim was to consolidate the ruin with the help of volunteers. The various phases of the project continued until 2010.
Today, the association's mission is to promote the site and bring it to life through various means: conferences, events and exhibitions.
The site is currently closed to the public. A major enhancement and safety project, piloted by the local community, is now underway.
