Presentation

The purpose of the Association is to protect and enhance the natural and historical site of the Bay of Morsalines. This bay to the north-east of the Cotentin peninsula is named after an ancient fishing hamlet dating back to the Middle Ages, named after the salt works used to extract sea salt. The APBMCL's actions focus on keeping the coastline clean, maintaining the coastline under attack from storms, restoring an 18th-century military dike (Vauban redoubt), and ensuring safe navigation.
