Association Centre Rural de Charly

Presentation

Forty years ago, the Centre Rural de Charly was entrusted with a remarkable estate in the heart of the Cluny region. Since then, it has been working to "encourage the agricultural profession, provide technical and moral training for the rural world and generally deal with all related issues, and ensure the proper management of the estate it owns".

Numerous activities have been created, including a farm, a rural family home and a community center.

The first projects were dictated by the urgent need to restore the property's perimeter walls. the rehabilitation of the main driveway leading to the château, with the laying of "raised stones" (a technique typical of the region), some of which were salvaged from Charly's land.
More recently, the facades of the former 1670 stables, now used by the Amicale Intercommunal, were renovated.

The association has received groups of people in difficulty, accompanied by their leaders, and can set up projects with young people from technical high schools or the Maison Familiale.
