Les Amis du Vieux Château de Volkrange aims to promote cultural activities based on knowledge and rehabilitation of the architectural, archaeological, historical and aesthetic heritage of the Thionville region, and in particular the historic castle of Volkrange.
The workcamp is a place to learn traditional restoration techniques. It is also a place to meet people and learn about life in a community.
Our motto is "Make people want to want to".
Numerous activities are offered within the château or directly in the schools: story time, guided tours, calligraphy or illumination...
From time to time, we also involve CAT residents in our work.
