Presentation

The association works to rehabilitate and promote the historical, architectural and agricultural heritage that gives the area its identity. It restores and maintains the Cocumont washhouse and fountain, as well as the Briolet site. The association has also restored a wooden wine press that bears witness to the commune's winegrowing past. The Cocumont Mémoire et Patrimoine association has decided to restore the tomb of Mr. Veilhon, a learned clogmaker who published a book devoted to Cocumont and whom the association describes as "of modest condition and nature, he knew how to write the history of our ancestors and our beloved village".
