The Friends of the Old Castle of Volkrange aim to promote a cultural action based on knowledge and rehabilitation of the architectural, archaeological, historical and aesthetic heritage of the Thionville region and in particular the historic castle of Volkrange.

The site is a place for learning traditional restoration techniques. It is also a place to meet and learn about community life.

"Make you want to want" is our motto.
Many activities are offered within the castle or directly in schools: story time, guided tours, calligraphy or illumination ...

Occasionally, CAT residents are associated with our work sites.
